From Grandma’s Kitchen: Patties

This dish is a scrumptious combination of spiced mince and fried pastry.



1 cup flour

½ cup cornflour

1 tbsp ghee

A little water


Make a dough using the flour, cornflour, ghee, and water. Knead into a smooth dough. Then roll it out.

Mix the remaining cornflour and ghee. Spread it over the rolled out dough.

Sprinkle some flour over the dough and roll the dough more.

Cut into small pieces.

Roll out each piece, put some mince on it, and seal with a little water on the pastry’s outer edges. Deep fry.
