From Grandma’s Kitchen: Pork Jeerem Meerem

For this dish, pork can be replaced with mutton or chicken. It is a simple gravy with a spicy aftertaste.

½ kg pork

5-6 garlic flakes

½ inch ginger piece

4-5 green chillies

½ tsp poppy seeds

½ tsp haldi powder

¼ tsp jeera

10 peppercorns

2 medium onions

Salt to taste

Grind the garlic, ginger, chillies, poppy seeds, turmeric powder, jeera, peppercorns, and poppy seeds.

Cut off the pork fat and heat it in a pan till it liquidizes. Cut the onions and cook it with the fat till brown.

Then, add the ground masala, vinegar, and the rest of the pork until ready.
