A cluster of talent thrives in the Siddhakala dance academy (Mapusa) -a comfortable, friendly environment. It was founded in 2003 by Jhaanvi Bondre. “We conduct training for dances like Bharatnatyam, folk dances, and Bollywood dancing.” Cultural events, training programmes, and workshops are also organized by them. They cater to students of 6 years and above.
The majority of their students are between 6 to 20 years of age. It’s a 7-year degree programme and students have to answer Bharatnatyam exams of the Gandharva university. The certificate the students obtain is valid throughout the world and can perform at state & national level. They are also located in areas like Bicholim, Panjim, Candolim and Siolim.
