Mangesh Maharudra, Mangeshi

As one gets down at the Mangueshi bus stop, he/she is greeted with a stretch of a foot bridge that is covered by trees on either side, which leads to the Temple of Shree Mangesh Maharudra. The temple is dedicated to Shri Mangesh an incarnation of lord Shiva. The Mangeshi temple zatra begins on the Ratha Saptami day and ends on Magh Purnima day. The festivities of this celebration begin with the Vijay Rathotsav and ends with Maha Rathotsav and Samuhik Prarthana.
