‘Dhaval Resha’ – Silver Lining: A Retrospective an exhibition of late artist, Pralhad Anant Dhond paintings. The show, jointly organised by Dhawal Resha Rang Sangaati, Institute Menezes Braganza, Goa Marathi Academy and Goa College of Art, will be inaugurated by painters, Padma Bhushan and Laxman Pai on November 11. The paintings will be on display till November 14 at the Institute Menezes Braganza Main Hall, Panaji.

On the occasion of 40 years of ‘Niz Mog’, the surviving artistes who were part of the tiatr – Laura D’Souza e Azavedo, Ivy Angela Pereira Nazareth, Fr Tony Cota, Afonso Bond Braganza, Alberto D’Souza, and Anthony Correia Pienkar – will be felicitated at a special function on November 14, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the Conference Hall of Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Panaji. President, Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Tomazinho Cardozo will be the chief guest. For more details click here.

The Plant Utsav will be conducting a potted plants competition on November 15. Participants having flowering plants, foliage ornamentals, cycads, palms, succulents and cacti can submit their entries between, 8 a.m. to 09.30 a.m. at the side gate of the Garcia da Orta Garden, opposite the Hindu Pharmacy prior to the competition. Simultaneous on-the-spot competitions for rangoli made using petals will be held near the Ashoka Stambh, along with a garland making and flower arrangements competition at 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. A demonstration of flower arrangements by Daniel D’Souza will take place on November 16, 5 p.m. Prior to that a drawing competition for school students at 10.30 a.m. and a fancy dress competition at 4 p.m. (Exact location not featured on map)
