The 4th edition of Mandatai Bandekar Memorial Sangeet mehafil ‘Swara Gangachya Kathi’ will be held on 10th November from 5:45 pm to 9 pm at Institute Menezes Braganza, Panjim. This concert is being organized by Suraish in collaboration with IMB and ‘Marva Creatives’ and presented by ‘Manda and Narayan Bandedkar charitable trust’ in memory of Indian music lover Mandatai Bandekar. Mandatai was a student of Indian classical music and had organized Damodar Sangeet Samellan, Vasco. Mumbai celebrity singers like Abhishek Marotkar will be performing moving Marathi songs. Sonali Karnak who has performed with Suresh Wadkar, Hridayant Mangeshkar, Shridhar Phadke, and Shalmali will be there as well. She has also received the Anil Mobile Award. Along with these celebrity singers, there will be well-known Goan musicians – Nitin Korgaonkar, Dattaraj Surlakar, Balksrishna Mest, and Tarant Folegadde. Gauri Bhide from Mumbai will be the comparer.

‘Dhaval Resha’ – Silver Lining: A Retrospective an exhibition of late artist, Pralhad Anant Dhond paintings. The show, jointly organised by Dhawal Resha Rang Sangaati, Institute Menezes Braganza, Goa Marathi Academy and Goa College of Art, will be inaugurated by painters, Padma Bhushan and Laxman Pai on November 11. The paintings will be on display till November 14 at the Institute Menezes Braganza Main Hall, Panaji.
