The Sunday Evening Quiz Club will organise a quizzing double-header on January 6. The first quiz, the 9th edition of the Quiz Foundation of India’s ongoing QF1 League, will take place at 3 p.m. The quiz is for solo contestants. This will be followed at 5 p.m. by the Panjim January Quiz, to be hosted by Nitish Wagle. Both quizzes are open to all and will take place at the International Centre Goa, Dona Paula. Poems on the Road, a travelling poetry library, open mic and poetry readings will be hosted by Walking BookFairs in collaboration with Thus on January 7, 4 p.m. at 6 Assagao, Assagao.

The Directorate of Museums will celebrate Museum Week 2019 till January 11, 2019, at Adil Shah Palace, Panaji. On this occasion, an exhibition ‘Houses of Eminent Goans’ will be held. Lectures related to the topic as well as a painting competition for the school students will be held.
