Parikrama 0.2 attracts the youth of Goa

Parikrama 0.2 will be held on 12th and 13th January 2019 at Kishoritai Amonkar Sasai, Marcel, Goa. It is a platform for students and youngsters to gain knowledge and boost their careers. The event is organised by Parikrama Knowledge Terminus in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture.  Zero fest of Parikrama 0.2 will be inaugurated by Tomazinho Cardozo, Former Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly. This year, Vinanti Kasar Kalgutkar, renowned grammarian, and Dattaprasad Shetkar, entrepreneur, will be felicitated with Parikrama Fellowship. Also, Mr Rohit Bhosle will receive the third Dr Madhavi Sardessai Yuva Shikshak Puraskar by Parikrama Knowledge Terminus. In total, 20 cultural groups and educational institutions are taking part in this event.

Some of the competitions that happened as a part of Parikrama 0.2 was Campaign art and Terebangali- a blog making competition where participants had to create travel blogs of their areas. Other competitions of this event include kovdik, kantar, konkani pop, newsroom, musical warriors, documentary, monograph, review writing, and others.

The event will end at 5 pm on Sunday. Jayesh Salgaonkar, Minister for Rural Development, is going to be the chief guest for the valedictory programme.  Leena Mashelkar, theatre personality, and Panch Raj Malik will be felicitated.
