Vinsan World formally launches the shoot for ‘STHALPURAN’

On Monday, Vinsan Productions announced the commencement of their second feature film production in Marathi which will be titled– ‘STHALPURAN’. The film is written and directed by Akshay lndikar, an ex-student of FTII and produced by Sanjay Shetye. Earlier, Indikar has made a docu-fiction named ‘Udaharanarth Nemade,’ based on the life of a Marathi writer and Dnyanpeeth awardee, Bhalchandra Nemade.

While briefing the media director of the movie, Indikar said that ‘Sthalapuran’ is the story of an 8-year old boy in search of his father. His experiences of the chaos after migration forms the basis of the storyline. It is a narrative that describes the coming of an age of a boy and takes the boy on the cusp of reality and the fantasy world. The locations explored in the story are the rural interiors of Goa and Konkan areas which showcases Konkan folk culture, its traditions and the beautiful unexplored regions of Goa added, Indikar. Indikar also added that the movie will be shot in two parts spanning over 35 days and will be having a screen-time run of 2 hours.

Dnyanesh Moghe of Visan Productions said that this movie is a combination with artists from Maharashtra and Goa, the movie will be shot in the interior areas of Pernem thus giving it an authentic look of rural Goa. Moghe also added that the director of the movie Indikar has preferred to go with artists that have a minimum or zero on-screen experience and the movie also features child artists such as Neil Deshmukh and Anushree Vani who will be making their on-screen debut in this film.
