Serendipity Arts Foundation announces curators for Serendipity Arts Festival 2018

Serendipity Arts Foundation reveals the names of curators for the third edition of Serendipity Arts Festival 2018 who will curate the multi-disciplinary event from December 15 to December 22, 2018, in Goa. This year’s list of curators spanning a wide range of experts who will bring diverse perspectives to the festival include: Rahaab Allana and Ravi Agarwal (Photography), Ranjit Hoskote and Subodh Gupta (Visual Arts), Rahul Akerkar and Odette Mascarenhas (Culinary Arts), Leela Samson and Ranjana Dave (Dance), Atul Kumar and Arundhati Nag (Theatre), Aneesh Pradhan and Sneha Khan Walkar (Music) and Annapurna Garimella and Rashmi Varma (Craft).

The will present over 80 art projects, comprising primarily of original content created specifically for the festival. There will also be special projects curated by artists and practitioners such as Shubha Mudgal, Riyas Komu, and Ayush Kasliwal, among others.

Director of Serendipity Arts Foundation, Smriti Rajgarhia, said; “We are very excited about the third edition of SAF 2018 and working with a predominantly new group of curators. Our previous curators continue to provide us with immense support and advice. I am sure all of our collective efforts will be reflected in the festival through a dedicated effort towards cultural equity and innovation.”

The multidisciplinary art festival is going to be held across the 2.2 kilometers stretch along the banks of River Mandovi in Panaji with more venues than last year. Celebrating 175th year of Panaji, the eight-day festival will also celebrate Goa in various projects. Besides this, SAF along with Mojarto will also be hosting the second edition of Arts Spectrum Awards: South Asia (ASASA), on December 14.
