Parikrama knowledge terminus to host revolutionary sounds of Goa

Parikrama Knowledge Terminus (PKT) in collaboration with Department of Art and Culture will host its annual event on June 18, from 7 p.m. onwards at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. Themed on the revolutionary sounds of Goa, the event ‘18 June Collective’ aims at exploring various folk songs and dances of the state.

The event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant and Minister for Art and Culture, Govind Gaude. The event will be dedicated to former deputy speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly and litterateur Vishnu Surya Wagh.

For the event, PKT has curated ten live performances of various artistes. In addition, the event will witness the participation of ten institutions from around Goa engage with 150 artistes on stage.

‘18 June Collective’ will feature notable artistes such as Shruti Bhosale, Tushar Kamat, Malcom D’costa and Divya Naik. Other artistes performing in groups include Sindhuraj Kamat, Raj Madgaonkar, Gayatri Patil, Suvidha Naik, Upendra Salgaonkar, Smith Naik, Chetan Naik, Gurudas Naik, Reshma Naik and others.

Parikrama Knowledge Terminus is an organisation of mid-career professionals created and crafted to provide quality educational aid and professional outlook for the youngsters. Since inception, the trajectory of this organisation has been guided by the creation and exchange of knowledge.
