Nobel Prize Series Inaugurated at Kala Academy

The second edition of the Nobel Prize Series in Goa was inaugurated on February 1 by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar at Kala Academy in Panaji in the presence of Nobel laureates Richard Roberts, Christiane Nusslein-Volhard, Serge Haroch and Tomas Lindhal. The series will go on till February 3.

The objective of the series is to spread knowledge across the world about the Nobel Prize and the achievements and inspirational stories of Nobel laureates. The series meets the objective with interactions, lectures, roundtable discussions and exhibitions. The idea is to provide a common platform for discussing prominent issues concerning science, literature, and peace.

On February 2 there will be ‘Nobel Dialogue’ on Education and Research for Growth, Restructuring Education and Research, Nobel Education Network and other topics at the same venue. The Nobel Dialogue is open to students, teachers, and educationists.
