A night of talks by creative people

Pechakucha Goa (volume 11- Artography) will be having an event featuring different speakers who will be sharing their journey with photography and art. It will take place in the Cube Gallery, Moira, on 10th January 2020 at 7:30 pm. There will be 11 talented people speaking on one night.

Here is a glimpse into who will be speaking:

Alok Johri – Artist/ Photographer

Alok Johri graduated in Applied Arts with specialization in Photography. He had risen to the post of Design Director at leading Advertising and Design firms in Bangalore and a long term member of European Press Agency as a photojournalist. His paintings have been featured in private collections across Europe, USA and India. He is also a widely published photographer.

 

Bharath Ramamrutham – Photographer & Publisher

Bharath Ramamrutham is one of India’s leading Architectural, Landscape and Travel photographers. His work covers landscapes, architecture and interiors, hospitality in all its forms, and the documentation of people, places and traditions all over India.

 

David Desouza – Anti Fashion-Fashion Photographer

David is a professional photographer. He is obsessed with photography and lives for beauty.

 

Shrey Flyin Munki Sawant – Graffiti Artist

Shrey Sawant, also known as ‘Flyin Munki’, is a Graffiti artist and an illustrator. He expanded his expertise to different art forms which are digital illustration & tattooing. His art is inspired by the cartoons & anime that he grew up watching.

 

Mansi Trivedi – Visual Artist

Mansi has been awarded an H.R.D scholarship, the Prafulla Dhanukar Award and the Fundação Oriente Visual Arts Award. Her work has been represented in various group shows since 2011. Ephemeral Gaze is her second solo show, after ‘Before Crashing to Earth’ at Lalit Kala Akademi Gallery, New Delhi in 2017.

 

Nadia De Souza – Illustrator

Nadia de Souza is an illustrator and graphic designer. She has dabbled in antique restoration. In 2018, she started working on watercolour illustrations, through which she tells stories using animals and humour. She is currently illustrating storybooks.

 

Orijit Sen – Graphic Artist & Designer

Orijit Sen is a graphic artist and designer. He is a co-founder of People Tree, a collaborative design studio and store. His graphic artwork has been widely circulated, published and exhibited. He is also the author of several graphic novels and stories including River of Stories.

 

Sanket Mandrekar – Speed Painter

Sanket is a speed painter. His live speed painting performances are astonishing. He is a self-taught artist.


Shallu Sharma – The Mosaicist

Shallu believes that the entire cosmos is a mosaic in motion. She is a full-time mosaic artist and entrepreneur, running Cosmosaic from her studio in Goa. Her work and mosaic workshops are helping increase awareness of this almost forgotten art form.

 

Sterre Sharma – Painter

Sterre Sharma is an international artist who settled in India 47 years ago. She’s had art exhibitions in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Amsterdam and Germany. Sterre works with oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolour, airbrush, clay, and fibreglass. She incorporates pop art brightness into her works.

 

Assavri Kulkarni – Photographer
