Nestle launches Goa edition of ‘KitKat Travel Break Pack’

In a very unique initiative between Goa Tourism and Nestle India, a limited edition KitKat Travel Break Pack was launched today by Nilesh Cabral, Chairman, Goa Tourism Development Corporation along with Sanjay Khajuria, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Nestle India, Jagdeep Marahar, Factory Manager KitKat, Sanjay Bhandari , Corporate Affairs Manager and others.

KIT KAT which has always inspired consumers to take a break from the monotonous routine launches the new tin travel break pack showcasing immersive lesser known travel locations of Goa and will be manufactured only in Goa for supplies to the entire market of India after the launch today.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Nestle India has been carrying out various activities in the country mainly in the areas of Nutrition Health & Wellness, Water, and rural development with the objective of "Enhancing quality of life and contributing to the healthier future" of society where Nestle India operates.

In addition to the launch of the KitKat Travel Break Pack, Nestle India also joined hands with Goa Tourism and Drishti to launch training of 1000 lifeguards, cruise crew, beach cleaning staff and watersport operators across the state of Goa.

Commenting on the initiative taken up by Nestle, GTDC, Chairman, Nilesh Cabral said that "We completely support the twin initiatives of Nestle India to launch Goa Tourism- KitKat Travel Break Pack as it is rightly said that Goa is a popular holiday destination and tourists think of Goa when it comes to taking a short or long break from their hectic schedules. Similarly, Goa is considered one of the top beach tourism destinations in the country and is popular with both domestic as well as international tourists. It attracts a large number of tourists annually. It is due to such large volumes of tourists, that upgrading the skills of those who manage the beaches becomes even more important. We are happy that Nestle India and Drishti are taking this initiative to help improve tourist experiences on our beaches."
