Konkani comedy film ‘0 La La’ which is all about entertainment is set to hit silver screens on May 27 at 7:30 pm. at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The film will subsequently be screened across Goa at different venues.

The movie is a mix of entertainment, comedy, drama, and suspense and is about three individuals who come together to form an event company which they named ‘0 La La’. The name of the movie stems from this concept. It revolves around the intensely competitive nature between two companies. The storyline weaves emotions into the script with a large dose of humor.

The movie cast includes tiatrists Prince Jacob and John D’Silva and Rajesh R. Pednekar who recently won the Best Actor award at the recently concluded Goa State Film Festival 2018. Other members of the cast include leading lady Tanvie Kishore, Rajiv Hede, Aryan Khedekar, C. D’Silva, Spirit Fernandes and Chitra Afonso.

While briefing the media producer, Nilesh Newalkar said that “This movie 0 La La is a departure from my earlier film Nirmon which is a remake of the 1966 Konkani classic. We have attempted something very different in this film and have worked together to offer Goan viewers a slice of entertainment which includes a little bit of everything right from comedy to suspense to drama. We hope that people of Goa and every Goan across the globe enjoys this film”.

Director of the movie, Sripad Pai said that a reasonable number of Konkani films are being produced off lately, which have very good concepts and storylines and have also been showcased at international level but face a scarcity of viewers when released in Goa. In order to eradicate the lack of viewership of Konkani films I decided to roll out a commercialised movie of a comedy genre, so that people can come in large numbers and enjoy the movie to the fullest, added Pai.

The film is written and directed by Sripad RA Pai and produced by Nilesh Newalkar and Manisha Newalkar under the banner of Axis Vision. Blasio Pinto, Sharmily Kashyap, Sanscarie and Siya Ghodge lent their voices to the songs in the film, while the title track has been sung by Hema Sardesai.
