To encourage creativity and to make Diwali vacation more enjoyable and fruitful, Goa Science Centre will be organising a Creative Science workshop for students from November 4 to 9. The workshop will be conducted in three different disciplines namely ‘Science Buzz’ for students of class one to four; ‘Creative Science’ for students of class five to seven and ‘Robotics’ for students of class eight to ten. The workshop includes science-related hands-on activities, science projects, live science demonstrations, etc. The timings of the workshops will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admissions will be given on first-come-first-serve basis. Opus Gala in Collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture will present an evening of orchestral music called ‘Recuerdame’ on November 4, 7:30 p.m. at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. This concert is dedicated in memory of Sanya Cotta, who tragically passed away this year. The evening will feature orchestral music featuring works by composers: Schostakovich, Schubert Jenkins and Elgar.
